Cameron's entire life has revolved around the construction industry. The family business built The Bishop Selwyn Resort in Paihia in the Bay of Islands and The Ridge Resort in Queenstown — and his portfolio of projects spans the North Island, the South Island, and even a resort in Rarotonga.
On building sites since his school days, Cameron has been actively involved in high-end residential builds — including Point Ridge Resort in Albany, Auckland — and a range of motel developments. He understands the build phase better than most, and he understood the short-term rental model through motels long before Airbnb came about.
Cameron has project-managed large developments from Northland to Auckland, and from Queenstown to the Pacific — build-side depth that means he can judge a developer, a build programme, and a management model from the inside.
